Sidi Mohamed Ould Boubacar (born 1945) is the current Prime Minister of Mauritania . He was appointed on August 7 2005 by Col. Ely Ould Mohamed Vall . He also held this office from 1992 until 1996 , while Maaouya Ould Sid'Ahmed Taya was President. Between his two periods as prime minister, he was his country's ambassador in France . He is a member of PRDS , Mauritania's biggest party.
